Fox Diva Shorts

Fox have brought out some great looking clothing this year and these shorts are no exception.

The Fox Diva are great looking casual shorts. The advocado green is perfect if you’re looking for something a bit different, or try the grey for a more understated option, but still with a little bit of colour interest in the blue zips.

Fox Diva Short 1

The side zippers give a good clean flat fronted (and flattering!) look and there are Velcro tabs to easily adjust the size. The two zip pockets at the front provide good safe storage, and there are also two rear pockets with Velcro fastening, and an easy access side pocket designed for an MP3 player. One zippered pocket even contains a handy glasses/goggle wipe, which we’ve found really useful on wet days.

These shorts have been thoroughly tested in the French Alps and Canada – on both XC and DH rides. They are cut long enough and baggy enough to work with knee pads, but light enough not to get too hot climbing. Perfect for the do-it-all Alpine riding holiday. We did initially worry that the material may be a bit thin to withstand rocky falls, but so far it seems to be holding up well, despite some pretty abusive riding.

Fox Diva Short 3

These shorts come with a liner, which can be poppered in place or removed and used with other shorts too. It is a nice thin mesh with a leg gripper that keeps it in place well. The pad has a good thickness, and is also well contoured. It’s proved comfortable on long day rides.

The only criticism is that the material seems to stain a little easily. It may be the paler green colour in comparison to the usual black, but some of the mud and dirt of the summer has not washed out. That said, we reckon they’re worth it for the eye catching colour.
