The Pass’Portes du Soleil MTB event 2011

 

The registrations for the 8th Pass’Portes du Soleil MTB opened last Thursday (10th Feb 2011), and over 2000 riders registered in the first hour! For 2011 this unique event has an extra 2000 places available, but you’ll need to register soon to ensure your place. Some resorts are already full, here’s the current availability below, plus information in real time is available at www.passportesdusoleil.com.

6000 mountain bikers from around the world are expected over the three day event, to ride and celebrate some terrific mountain biking in the largest MTB area in Europe. We’ve ridden this event several times and recommend staying with Flow Mtb, for fabulous hospitality and a well set up workshop too! If you book a week at Flow Mtb they can provide you with a ticket to ride the Pass'Portes event, as they've pre-booked places already!

 

There is a choice of loop from 30km to 75 km long, making use of the areas extensive lift system to take in as much riding as possible: the 75k loop uses 14 lifts. See the map below to whet your appetite!

The Pass’Portes MTB show will be held in Les Gets this year. Riders and visitors can test some top of the range new bikes from the sport’s big-name manufacturers and watch incredible demos and shows all weekend.
