Helly Hansen Dry Revolution Base

The Helly Hansen Dry Revolution long sleeved base layer is a seamless, fitted, super stretchy, lightweight and highly breathable base that is just perfect for spring riding.

Helly Hansen Dry Revolution

The people at Helly Hansen know a thing or two about base layers having invented the world’s first back in 1970 and they have not rested on their laurels since then.  40 years later and the Dry Revolution fabric used in this base layer represents a significant upgrade on their trademark Lifa fabric, using fibres that are softer, more comfortable next to the skin and which keep you dryer for longer – basically it’s all good.

Add that to a female specific design, that is figure skimming but with no seams and you really could not ask for much more.  There is nothing to rub or chafe or even irritate the skin, just the lovely soft feel of the fabric next to your skin, it really is a joy to wear.  The high performance fabric is so stretchy that there is no tugging or pulling, the base layer simply follows your movement whatever you get up to.

We’ve been wearing the Dry Revolution base as the weather has warmed up a bit and found it really lived up to its promises.  The high tech fabric is fabulously efficient at moving sweat away from the body and it kept us dry even during some pretty high intensity riding.  It fits so well you forget you’re wearing it and when the training is done it washes at 40 degrees and then dries very quickly and is ready to go again.

Critically, Helly Hansen have not stinted on the cut, which is generous in length and allows for lots of lovely tuck in and even the sleeves are nice and long too.

The Dry Revolution is a lightweight base layer in a feminine design, with a seamless construction for the ultimate comfort and using the latest fabric technology developed by the masters at Helly Hansen.
