Feather-light and totally fabulous, the Craft Vent Mesh singlet is for high intensity workouts in the hottest conditions

The Craft Vent Mesh singlet is for the hottest of days and we have loved using it for running outside and equally indoors, in the home gym.  It arrived a few weeks before lockdown and we planned to put it through its paces while training in Mallorca, little did we know the UK would oblige by giving us some super-hot days to train in.  So even though we have been training all alone, we have thoroughly tested this singlet and enjoyed every moment of that.

We have not come across fabric lighter than Craft have used in their Vent Mesh singlet and even though it is a mesh fabric, it is not see-though.  Craft dub it “nanoweight” and suggest the feel is “barely-there” and while we have tried, we cannot find better words to describe the floaty, featherlight quality of this singlet, which still retains a beautiful drape.  All this and it offers UV protection, whilst the mesh is also 38% recycled.

There is a rather glorious feeling of air flowing around the body while wearing the Craft Vent Mesh singlet and sweat is able to move away naturally.  Craft really have worked hard on the design, the cut is form fitting over the shoulders and across the chest, from there it drops to below the waist line with a more relaxed fit that still retains enough shape to flatter the female form.

Craft make the most of their mesh fabric, using it for the entire back panel and then wrapping it over the shoulders to stop at the top of the pecs, with the front panel being made of a more densely knitted weave.  We really liked the fit around the arms and chest; there are no gaping holes at the sides and no danger of revealing any cleavage either.  With the racer back, a well-proportioned neck and attention to the female shape, Craft have managed to create a singlet that exposes the arms and shoulders, without leaving the wearing feeling exposed or self-conscious.

The Craft Vent Mesh singlet is truly a performance piece despite its stunning looks and the attention to detail is obvious at every turn.  Take the taped seams and hem for example, which lie flat against the skin and work to enhance the design so that the finished look is beautiful.  In addition, there are reflective stripes down the sides, as well as logos front and back should you find yourself training at dusk.

If you feel like really spoiling yourself but care enough to want to limit your impact on the environment, while needing high-tech fabrics to support your training, you cannot go wrong with the Craft Vent Mesh singlet - it is feminine but functional, using fabrics which redefine your expectations of lightness.
