Feel inspired to ride London to Paris?

Anna Glowinski told us ‘The ride that we're celebrating and preparing for is the Environmental Justice Foundation's* London to Paris called "the Great Fashion Cycle".  The Inspire Evening is a way of getting new’ish cyclists, or cyclists new to London, in one place to find out what’s on offer in London. The London to Paris riders will get to have their bikes checked over and a personal training plan made.’

Venue: EJF shop, 57 Carnaby St

Date: 23/04/2010

Time: 7-9.30pm

Cost: £5 (to go to Environmental Justice Foundation)

Your entry fee will give you:

  • A handful of MuleBars

  • A glass of Fair Trade wine

  • Bike-check and minor repairs**

  • Introduction by The Mule Bar Girls Race Team, followed by talks from the London Cycling Campaign and a Herne Hill Velodrome representative.

  • Personal training plan worked out with you by Rebecca Charlton, Mule Bar Girl and cycling ride leader, with advice from Health and Fitness expert Hannah Reynolds.

  • Training and race opportunities in London explained by British Cycling coaches.

  • Information on bike insurance, cycle safety and local campaign issues from The London Cycling

  • Campaign and Cyclist's Touring Club.

  • Display by AnaNichoola riding style, who will be happy to talk to you about the joys of chamois creme and performance-wear that won't kill your image on a 90 mile ride.

We hope that after the evening you will leave feeling more confident and inspired about the challenge ahead, along with raising money for EJF.
